In the Qur'an, God often calls on humans to study the nature and watching "Signs" with him / her. All living and not living in the universe is filled with "paragraph", which indicates that the universe was created seisinya. In addition, this nature is a reflection of his omnipotence, Science and Creative Creator. Is mandatory for people to understand these verses through his mind, so he eventually became a submissive servant to God.
Despite all living creatures is the revelations of Allah, there are a number of unique animals which are specifically mentioned in the Qur'an. One of them is a mosquito:
Allah disdains a parable in the form of a mosquito or lower than that. As for those who believe, they believe that it is the truth from their Lord, but those who disbelieve say: "Does God mean by this parable?" With imagery that many people are misled God, and with a parable that (too) many people have given him instructions. And no one whom Allah except those who rebel (Surat al-Baqara, 2:26).
Perhaps many of us who think of mosquitoes as the insects that normally, or even annoying because people like to interfere with sleep. But the statement: "Allah disdains making parable form of a mosquito or lower than that" should push us to think about the wonders of animals on this one.
Nectar-eater
Widely thought that the mosquito is sucking blood and eating it is not entirely correct. Only female mosquitoes that suck blood and not a male. In addition, female mosquitoes suck blood not for their food needs. For both male and female mosquitoes, they live by eating the "nectar", which is a sweet liquid secreted by flowers of the plant (flower honey). The only reason why female mosquitoes, and not the males, suck blood because blood contains proteins are required for the development and growth of mosquito eggs. In other words, female mosquitoes suck blood to sustain the survival of the species.
Discoloration
Mosquito development process is the most amazing events. Below is a brief description about the metamorphosis of the larvae of mosquitoes begins petite through a number of different developmental stages to eventually become adult mosquitoes.
Female mosquitoes lay their eggs, which were fed in the form of blood in order to grow and develop, on damp leaves or ponds are not watering in summer or autumn. Previously, this female mosquitoes that have explored the area very carefully using a highly sensitive receptors located in the stomach. After finding a suitable place, the mosquitoes began to lay its eggs. Eggs whose length is less than 1 mm was placed on a regular basis to form an orderly line. Some mosquito species lay their eggs so that is shaped like a canoe. Some colonies have eggs which consists of 300 pieces of eggs.
The eggs are white, then changes the color becomes darker, and in a few hours to a jet-black. This dark color serves to protect the eggs not to be seen by insects or birds of prey. A number of other larvae also change color, adjust the color of the place where they are, it serves as camouflage in order not to be easily seen by predators.
These larvae change color through various chemical processes that occur in her body. No doubt that eggs, larvae and female mosquitoes are not creating their own or control the various chemical processes that cause these color changes with the passage of mosquito metamorphosis. Odds also the case when this complex system happens by itself. The conclusion was that the mosquito has been created along with the system fully reproductively since the first time he exists. And the Creator of the Most Perfect is Allah.
Life as larvae
When the egg incubation period has passed, the larvae went out of their eggs in about the same time. Larva (mosquito larvae) that eat this constantly growing so fast that the skin finally wrapping her body becomes very tight and narrow. This does not allow her to grow up again. This is a sign that they should replace the skin. At this stage, the skin is hard and brittle is easily broken and peeling. The larvae are experiencing double-skin replacement before completing the period of their lives as larvae.
Wiggler to get food with amazing ways. They create a small whirlpool in the water by using the tip of their bodies covered in fur so much like a fan. The range of water causes the bacteria and other micro-organisms and is sucked into the mouth of the mosquito larvae. Respiratory process wiggler, which reversed its position under the water surface, occurs through an air pipe which is similar to "snorkel" (respiratory tube) which is used by divers. Larval body issued a viscous fluid that can prevent water from entering the venue for breathing holes. Really, this sophisticated respiratory systems may not be made by the larva itself. This is nothing but proof to the omnipotence of God and His love in this tiny creature, to be able to breathe easily.
We left the cocoon
In the larval stage (larva), a change of skin once again. At this stage, the larva moves towards the end of the stage of their development cocoons (pupal stage). When skin feels cocoons have cramped and tight, this is a sign for the larvae to exit from its cocoon.
During this last change, larvae of mosquitoes that endanger their souls to face the challenges, namely the entry of water that can clog the respiratory tract. This is because the breathing holes, which are connected with the air hose and protruding above the water surface, will soon be closed. So since this closure, and so forth, no longer breathing through a hole, but through two pipes in front of the newly formed young mosquitoes. Not surprisingly, these two pipes to surface water before the turn of the skin occurs (ie, before the mosquitoes came out leaving the cocoon). Mosquitoes that are in a cocoon has now become mature and ready to go out and fly. These animals have been equipped with all the organs and organelnya like antennae, legs, chest, wings, abdomen and large eyes.
Mosquito emergence from the chrysalis chrysalis begins with the tearing of the skin at the top. The biggest risk at this stage is the entry of water into the cocoon. Fortunately, the top of the tear sac is lined by a special viscous liquid that serves to protect the head of a new mosquito "birth" is the tangent to the water. This period is critical. For a very gentle breeze can even resulted in death if the young mosquitoes fall into the water. This young mosquitoes must get out of its cocoon and climb to the top surface of the water with her feet just touched the surface of the water.
Thus, it is often obscured from our hearts to understand the greatness of God in the creatures that looked small and insignificant. If mosquitoes that turned out to save the small wonders of God's creation is so great, what about the creatures of his larger and more often we see in everyday life? Wallaahu knows best.
