RELEGION ARTIKEL 16

Master this Ramadan, I express my hope on all Muslims throughout the world, a sincere hope that this Holy Month hopefully bring good especially infinite peace to its adherents. So many Muslims in Palestine, Chechnya, Kashmir, East Turkestan, Indonesia and other countries entered this month in an atmosphere of violence, conflict and war. The only desire of the innocent people trapped in poverty, hunger and disease are able to live under the auspices of their religion, in the atmosphere of peace and stability as well as living in a safe atmosphere without distractions.

In order for any problems that arise are ended, all Muslims must unite, make a serious effort to make the values of the Qur'an is delivered and grounded, and work together wherever possible to help Muslims in need. Ramadan is very important especially when the cooperation and help each other forward. The most important thing here is do not think what kind of help should I give? But it has to work with sincere hearts. Should not be overlooked is that God is the Lord of the Universe, which will determine the success of all these efforts and receive the prayers of the faithful believers in Him.

Ramadan is the month of abundant rewards, as depicted in the Qur'an that revealed as guidance for all mankind, in which there is also the night that has a better value than a thousand months, Laylat Qadr (Surah Al-Qadr: 3). During Ramadan, all Muslim people in the world to run commands fasting, as a form of gratitude to God for all the blessings that He has given them.

In Surat Al-Baqarah, Allah states the following regarding the Month of Ramadan: "The month of Ramadan, the month in which reduced (beginning of) the Qur'an as a guidance for mankind and the explanations of the instructions and differentiator (between right and falsehood). Because , whoever among you is present (in the country where he lived) in the month, he must fast that month, and whosoever sick or on the road (and then he broke), then (mandatory for him berpusa), which left as many days that, on other days. God desires ease for you and does not want hardship for you. And ye shall replenish the numbers and you shall glorify God for His guidance is given unto you, that ye may be thankful. (Surat al-Baqarah [2]: 185)

Fulfilling obligations to achieve the pleasure of Allah fasting is a strong evidence of faith, the sanctity of life, keikhlashan heart, and fear Allah. Fasting is a special form of worship of God as a servant and his Lord, because God only knows' intention / intention of a person, keikhlashan, purity, and concern over the practice of halal and haram, including when a person fulfilling this obligation. No one knows whether a person is fasting to give the impression to people around him or for other purposes outside of the main holy purpose. People who fasted as deeds are rewarded in accordance with what is in the sight of God.

Messenger gave encouraging news to his people in a hadith: Really! kebahagiaanlah for people who through the month (Ramadan) is by fasting, praying, and doing good deeds (pious deeds)!

God delivered this fast liabilities in the Qur'an Surah Al Baqarah: "O ye who believe, fasting is prescribed for you as obligatory upon the people before you, that ye may be righteous. (Surat al-Baqarah [2]: 183).

As stated in the paragraph above, one reason why fasting is required is that men be cautious and be able to restrain his desires. The only way to do it is to believe (faith) to God with a sincere heart, obey all orders and away from the temptations of desires. Thus, the morality of a person will grow better with time, his faith deepened, and the fear of God even more solid.

However, one important thing that the holy faith, sincere prayer, dhikr of Allah and the desire to curb the passions should not receded with the end of the fasting month. Someone with an unwavering faith exudes morality / the spirit of Ramadan and even every moment in her life. Allah has made fasting obligations only at certain times, and ordered people to stay away from the things forbidden / incorrect. Man must stay away from forbidden things throughout his life, listen to the voice of conscience, trying to get the pleasure of Allah and return to Him. This is the morality that is loved by God. Doing things the opposite of worship, prayer and dhikr to Allah during Ramadan, and away from the truth as stated in the Qur'an, just after the Holy Month was passed, an act that incurred the Wrath of God. This is because on the Day of Judgement everyone will be asked to count all his deeds, big or small, and will be rewarded with a deserving reward. Whoever cautious and listen to his conscience would be saved, and whosoever will reject and deny God who will not get adzab berskhir ever in hell.
