RELIGION ARTIKEL 22

By the sky that contain rain (Surah Ath Thaariq, 86:11). The word interpreted as 'containing the rain' in the translation of the Qur'an is also meaningful 'sent back' or return.

As is known, the atmosphere surrounding the earth consists of several layers. Each layer has an important role for life. Research reveals that these layers have the function return the objects or the light they receive into space or downward, ie to the earth. Now, let us examine some examples of return functions of the layers that surround the earth.

Layers of the troposphere, 13 to 15 km above the earth's surface, allowing water vapor that rises from the earth's surface becomes saturated and collected up to fall back to earth as rain.
Ozone layer, at an altitude of 25 kilometers, reflects harmful radiation and ultraviolet rays that come from space and return both of them into space.
Ionosphere, radio wave beam reflected back from earth to the other hemisphere, just like a passive communications satellite, enabling wireless communication, broadcast radio and television broadcasts at a considerable distance.
The nature of the layers of the sky that can only be found in the present scientifically, we have stated many centuries ago in the Qur'an. This once again proves that the Qur'an is the word of God.

In a verse of the Koran was called the nature of the wind that 'mating' up to the formation of rain.

And we have to marry the wind blew, and We sent down rain from the sky, then We will give you to drink the water, and it is not you who keep it. (Surat al-Hijr, 15:22)

In this paragraph, be emphasized that the first phase in the formation of rain is wind. Until the early 20th century, the only connection between the wind and rain is known is that the wind moving the clouds. However, the invention of modern meteorological science has demonstrated the role of 'mating' of the wind in the formation of rain.

Function 'mating' of these winds occurred as follows:

Above sea level and ocean, air bubbles formed by countless foam formation. At the moment these bubbles burst, thousands of small particles, with one hundredth of a millimeter in diameter, was thrown into the air. These particles, known as aerosols, mixed with the dust that is carried inland by the wind, and subsequently carried into the upper atmosphere. These particles carried upward climb higher by the wind, and met with water vapor there. Water vapor condenses around these particles and turns into water droplets. These water droplets first come together and form clouds, and then falls to earth in the form of rain.

As is apparent, the wind 'mated' the water vapor floating in the air with particles brought from the sea and eventually help the formation of rain clouds. If the wind does not have this characteristic, the water droplets in the upper atmosphere will never formed, and the rain was not going to happen.

The most important thing here is that the main role of wind in the formation of rain has been stated many centuries ago in a verse from the Koran, when people only know little about natural phenomena.

Other facts given in the Qur'an about rain is that the rain descended to earth in some degree. This is described in Surah Az Zukhruf as follows: And the lower the concentration of water from the sky according to (necessary) and then we turn on the water was dead land, as indeed you will be expelled (from the dead). (Surat Az Zukhruf, 43:11)

Concentration in this rain had once again been discovered through modern research. It is estimated that in one second, approximately 16 million tons of water evaporates from the earth. This figure produces 513 trillion tons of water per year. This figure was equal to the amount of rain that fell to earth in one year. This means that the water continues to rotate in a balanced cycle according to the size or extent. Life on earth depends on this water cycle. Even though humans use all available technology in the world, they will not be able to create a cycle like this.

Even a small deviation from this number will soon lead to ecological imbalance that could end life on earth. However, this never happens and the rain continues to fall each year in the number that really the same as stated in the Qur'an.
